One of the best parts about being a geologist is the chance to better understand the natural world around us. But, you don’t have to travel to a distant location to explore fascinating geologic phenomena. Our goal is to share the geology we find in our everyday lives…whether it is a view from the side of the highway, a dry riverbed, or even the stone masonry in an old building. Geology is everywhere and anywhere….maybe even in your own backyard!
